Festive Bars in San Diego This Christmas
The countdown to Christmas is on! And one of my favorite aspects of Christmastime is experiencing how different restaurants or bars celebrate. Whether it’s decorating the space or creating a seasonal menu. But I just don’t know how festive a Christmas drink would be without the decorations to compliment it!
So, let me tell you about my 3 favorite Christmas bar experiences in San Diego:
3. Nolita Hall
This year, Polite Provisions is part a worldwide (yes, worldwide!) Miracle Christmas-themed pop-up. Talk about the most festive setting ever!! It is sure to have anyone in the Christmas spirit. But if you’re feeling like a grinch, just pop over to Cantina Mayahuel for some of the best tacos and large selection of tequila. If you’re not in San Diego, here is where you can find a Miracle Pop Up location in your neck of the woods.
Speaking of the Grinch, Craft & Commerce theme is “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”. The menu created for this theme is adorable, and I confess it wasn’t hard for me to choose the “Silent Night, Mole Night”. With graham cracker infused bourbon and mole bitters, the Grinch may have stolen Christmas, but this drink stole my fancy.
Nolita Hall is the newest bar in Little Italy and happens to be my favorite place to frequent right now. Year around there is always something to do, whether you’re playing 2K or watching football, or checking the flight arrivals alternate when the planes fly overhead. I was told that they are in real-time! The Christmas decorations are a gift to the eyes and they even show Christmas movies on Tuesday’s at 8pm. The Nolita Winter Spritz is the perfect spritz for San Diego. The vanilla and orange of the Montenegro instead of Aperol is a delightful change for the winter.
